This is NOT photoshopped. That is a picture of Richard Branson kite surfing while his girlfriend Denni Parkinson rides naked hanging onto his back!!!! It is one of the best pictures I have ever seen.
With news that one of the buildings on Richard Branson's private 74 acre island in the British Virgin Islands caught fire after being struck by lightening during Hurricane Irene, I decided to look for pictures of his home before the fire. That picture above is one of the photos that I found.
But with such curiosity about the island after I remember seeing it during is reality show 'The Rebel Billionaire', I continued my search.
I found the clip from the show where the maker of Spanx loses!!! Check it out starting at 1:09.
And for those who are interested in the photos of the island, I have included them below. I have seen video footage of the fire and it all seems really awful. It was quite a devastating fire. This beautiful penthouse apartment at 54 Bond Street has finally sold for $13,491,812US. It was originally listed at $16,500,000US in September which is apparently more than the owner/developer paid for the whole building!
When the owner Adam Gordon first bought the old bank turned Bouwerie Lane Theatre in 2007 for $15,000,000, he did extensive renovations to the building for a single family home and listed it for $36,000,000! But the timing wasn't right. Who wanted to invest in a $36 million mansion one month after Lehman Brother's fell!?!
So Adam Gordon converted the building once again into 3 apartments and the penthouse was the last to go.
It is beautiful. I love it all! Except I am not really feeling the tv easel. It probably doesn't come with the apartment anyhow.

Though I reported only a month ago that Jude Law and Sienna Miller had bought Kate Moss's old home and were set to move in together, looks like that won't happen. Their publicists have confirmed a split once again. Too bad because I really like them together. Jude is said to be the only name listed on the home that was purchased. I guess it is a good thing this apartment that has been on the market since 2009(!!) for $1.6 million never sold. And Sienna is the listed seller! Looks like she has a place to move back into. Do you think she will keep the Moroccan style bathroom or whatever that is?
Balemor, this beautiful Brookline, Massachusetts estate, was built in 1929 though you wouldn't know if from the beautiful remodel. All I think of when I look at it is smooth. Everything is smooth. With 6 bedrooms, an outdoor kitchen, spa with adjacent treatment room and a cedar closet, this home is worth the $12.5 million asking price.
