COUCH ENVY: LEATHER AND VELVET
Last week, I mentioned my new love for leather couches. I also have an obsession with velvet couches. My current 10 year old white Ektorp pull out sofa from IKEA that is currently in my living room (it wouldn't fit up the stairs to the tv room) just isn't cutting it.
I would happily take ANY of these couches to replace it!!
CHURCH LIVING IN AMSTERDAM
Love this converted church which is the home to Fons (yeah, Fons) Cohen, owner and founder of Imps & Elfs, the kid's clothing company I posted about yesterday. Fons lives in his home with wife Katja and their 3 girls ages 13, 11 and 8.
I have never really been a fan of leather couches but seeing interiors like this, I might be a convert (badumbump).
INSIDE THE HOME OF DAVID SPADE'S BROTHER
Yes, that is Andy Spade, brother of alleged lady's man (I know!) and comedian, David Spade. Andy is married to the Kate Spade of the famous bags of the 1990s. Together Kate and Andy launched their company in 1993 under the Kate Spade brand primarily selling handbags. They have since expanded to personal organizers, pajamas, and now a home collection among many other things. They also have a 5 year old daughter named Frances.
I still can't believe he is David Spade's brother or that David Spade is a ladies man.
But that has nothing to do with the house. I kind of love it but there is too much stuff. The art is AMAZING though. Click here to see more.
