I love everything about this house in Sherman Oaks. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and cork floor, this home is a pretty decent price at $799,000. Built in 1955, the decor of the home, from the teak furniture to the Eames chairs and the shag rug, is a beautiful nod to the period with a modern feel.

Meet Adam, the British sleep talker whose wife, Karen, has taken to recording his nighttime rants for us all to enjoy. And they have even put some of the quotes on mugs, t-shirts, aprons, and even greeting cards. A few of my favourties are below though I suggest you take a look at the site. But make sure you have some time on your hands because you won't want to leave. Sleeping Adam is pretty hilarious (unless of course you believe it to be an invasion of privacy or that it is all a hoax!).

When I came across these pictures of Hotel Basico, Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico on Poppytalk, the first thing I thought of was the movie The Big Blue or Le Grand Bleu, directed by Luc Besson. I haven't seen that movie in almost 20 years but just the thought of it calms me. Jean-Marc Barr and Jean Reno, along with Roseanna Arquette, were so amazing in it . I think it is about time to watch it again.

Diane Kruger, of Troy and Inglourious Basterds fame, celebrated her 34th birthday on July 14th. Here are a few photos of her, and stylish boyfriend Joshua Jackson, in the many beautiful outfits that have helped make her known as much for her acting as for her fashion sense.
